The Colours of Chinchero

from £90.00

Limited edition run of 8 copies.

Comes with a certificate of authenticity.

Printed on Giclée Hahnemühle Photo Rug paper.

Chinchero, a little town in Peruvian Sacred Valley, is famous for its weavers creating colourful textiles. In January 2020 I photographed the whole process at Awayriqcharicheq Textile Centre. I loved how local plants and herbs were used to dye alpaca wool, but my favourite shot was taken by chance. I noticed one of the weavers leaving the workshop and snapped a perfect frame with some colourful handmade poms and the brick roofs of the Chinchero buildings.

All prints are custom made, so I can’t accept returns.
